Circumstances:
The crew departed London on a flight to Cape Town on behalf of the Ministero dell'Aeronautica. While approaching the Libyan coast, the crew was forced to divert to the nearest airport due to fuel exhaustion. On approach to Zuara Airfield located 47 km from the Libya-Tunisia border, the airplane crashed on an Italian Military Camp. While all four crew members were injured, three people on the ground were killed.

The pilot and his passengers were performing a local flight over the sea off East London. While flying around the hospital ship named 'Gloucester Castle', the single engine aircraft went out of control and crashed into the sea. The pilot was rescued and both passengers were killed.

The three engine airplane was completing a flight from South America to France via Senegal and Morocco. While cruising at night off the Moroccan coast, the radio navigator sent a mayday message. As the airplane failed to arrive in Casablanca, SAR operations were initiated. Some debris were found six days later, on November 2, in the region of Mogador (now Essaouira). No trace of the wreckage or the seven occupants was ever found.
