Circumstances:
The pilot, sole on board, departed Courtrai-Wevelgem Airport on a training flight. While cruising at an altitude of 400 metres, the engine failed. The pilot lost control of the airplane that crashed in a field located in Lauwe. The pilot was injured and the aircraft was destroyed.
Probable cause:
Engine failure in flight.

Circumstances:
The crew was completing a local training flight at Digby Airport. While flying in the vicinity of the airfield, the airplane collided with a RAF Avro 504N registered J9016 and carrying one pilot. Following the collision, both aircraft entered a dive and crashed in a field. All three crew members were killed.
