Loss of power just after liftoff caused the aircraft to stall and to crash. Both pilots were slightly injured and the aircraft was damaged beyond repair.

Circumstances:
The crew departed RAF Carew Cheriton on a convoy patrol mission. Returning to base, he encountered poor weather conditions over Pembrokeshire and got lost. Nevertheless, the pilot was able to locate the RAF Pembrey and attempted an emergency landing when the airplane crashed by the runway. The airplane was destroyed and all three crew members were injured. The wireless operator died two days later from injuries sustained.

The airplane departed RAF Pembrey on a gunnery exercise. It was seen to dive out of the clouds and to crash into the sea about a mile north of Ynys Lanwol. All four crew members were killed.

Circumstances:
The crew departed RAF Pembrey on a local training exercice. In the evening, while flying in the vicinity of the airbase, the airplane suffered an engine failure. The pilot-in-command attempted an emergency landing when the aircraft crashed in the Gwendraeth Marshes, less than two km north of the airfield. All four crew members were killed.
