Marham AFB

The airplane departed RAF Marham at 1943LT on an operation to Boulogne. In unknown circumstances, it went out of control and crashed in a field located some 10 km southwest of Calais. All six crew members were killed.

The airplane departed RAF Marham at 0251LT on an operation to Brest. While returning to base the next morning, it went out of control and crashed in East Winch, bursting into flames. All six crew members were killed.

The airplane departed RAF Marham at 1750LT on February 11 on an operation to Bremen. While returning to base the following night, it ran out of fuel and was abandoned over Cumbria. All six crew members were uninjured and the aircraft was destroyed after it crashed in a field located in Tebay.

The airplane departed RAF Marham at 1810LT on February 11 on an operation to Bremen. While returning to base the following night, the crew was unable to establish a w/t contact and eventually sighted a searchlight beam pointing along the ground, but as the airplane broke through the cloud, the light was extinguished and a forced-landing was made at 0040LT in the mud of the River Severn some 300 yards from its banks near Frampton on Severn. All six crew members evacuated safely.

The airplane departed RAF Marham at 1814LT on February 11 on an operation to Bremen. While returning to base the following night, the crew was forced to abandon the airplane for unknown reasons. All six crew members were uninjured while the aircraft dove into the ground and was destroyed.

The airplane departed RAF Marham at 1900LT on February 11 on an operation to Bremen. While returning to base the following night, the crew divert to RAF Finningley for unknown reasons. On final approach, the airplane crashed short of runway and was destroyed. All six crew members were rescued.

The airplane departed RAF Marham at 1823LT on February 11 on an operation to Bremen. It was abandoned by the crew for unknown reasons while flying over Cambridge, dove into the ground and crashed onto houses located in Histon Road. Three ladies on the ground were killed while all six crew members were uninjured.

The airplane departed RAF Marham at 2035LT on February 10 on an operation to Hanover. The following night, while returning to base, it was shot down by the pilot of a German fighter and crash landed in Narborough. A crew was injured and five others were unhurt.

The pilot departed RAF Marham on his first solo training flight. While circling in the area of the airbase, he lost control of the airplane that crashed near Wormegay. The pilot was killed.

The airplane departed RAF Marham at 1717LT on December 28 on an operation to Hamm. Approaching Bochum, it was shot down by the German Flak and crashed in Langendreer. All six crew members were killed.
