Circumstances:

The crew was performing a practice mission over Vättern Lake and the aircraft was towing a target for an anti-aircraft battery exercise. During a turn, the elevator was blocked by the towed wire and the aircraft went out of control and crashed into the Vättern Lake, about 60 km northeast of Jönköping and sank by a deep of 90 meters. Both crew members were killed.

After landing, the aircraft was evacuating the runway via a taxiway when it collided with a French Air Force Caudron C.714 registered 28. Both aircraft caught fire and exploded. A pilot was killed and the second occupant was injured.

Following a straight-in approach, the pilot initiated a go around procedure when the airplane stalled, contacted trees and crashed in a wooded area located in Saint-Jean-d'Illac, some two km west of the airfield. The pilot was killed.

The pilot departed Mont-de-Marsan on a local solo training flight. On final approach, the airplane collided with a North American 57 that was trying to land on the same runway. The propeller of the Simoun impacted the horizontal stabilizer of the NA 57, overturned and crashed. The pilot was injured and the aircraft was destroyed.
