The crew was performing a local training sortie on behalf of the Reconnaissance Group I/35 based in Lyon-Bron. In the evening, the aircraft departed Lyon-Bron with a second Amiot 143 registered E-272. In unknown circumstances, both aircraft collided and crashed in a field and onto a house located near the airport. All six occupants in both aircraft were killed.

Circumstances:
The crew departed Lyon-Bron Airport in the afternoon on a local training mission. On final approach, the crew failed to realize that he was flying too low. The aircraft collided with an electrical pylon and crashed against the wall of a farm located near the airport. All four occupants were injured and the aircraft was destroyed. The following day, the pilot and the observer died from injuries sustained.

Circumstances:
The float plane departed Southampton at 1150LT on a flight to Durban with intermediate stops in Brindisi, Mirabella and Alexandria. On board were one passenger, five crew members and a load of mail, four boxes with 160 kg of gold, one box of gemstone et tree bags of bank notes from the National British and Egyptian Banks. While overflying the Morvan Mountain Range, the radio navigator contacted ground control in Lyon-Bron to obtain a position briefing. While flying in snow falls, the four engine aircraft named 'Capricornus' deviated from the flight plan then impacted two pine trees and crashed near Ouroux, some 20 km southwest of Mâcon. The radio navigator survived and walked few km to find help. When he returned to the aircraft, he found that all five other occupants were killed.

While approaching Lyon-Bron Airport on a mail flight from Paris-Le Bourget, the pilot lost control of the aircraft following an in-flight fire. The aircraft crashed and came to rest upside down in a field located in Genas, some 3 km east of the airfield. The pilot was injured and the aircraft was destroyed. It is possible that the engine caught fire in flight.

The crew departed Lyon-Bron at 1525LT to return to his base in Chartres. Forty minutes after takeoff, while cruising at an altitude of 3,500 metres northwest of Lyon, the crew encountered poor weather conditions with thunderstorm activity. The crew decided to bail out but one of them was still in the aircraft when it crashed in a field located in Saint-Clément-sur-Valsonne, about 40 km northwest of Lyon-Bron Airport. All three occupants were injured and the aircraft was destroyed.
