Circumstances:
The airplane departed Hamble on a local training flight, carrying one cadet and one instructor. En route, the airplane went out of control, entered a dive and crashed in a pasture in Nursling, northwest of Southampton. The aircraft was destroyed and both occupants were killed. The cadet was making his first flight as a pupil of the Hampshire Aeroplane Club which he had joined in the morning.

Circumstances:
The airplane departed Croydon on a special mission on behalf of the Royal Air Force. While cruising at night at an altitude of 8,000 feet in stormy weather, the twin engine aircraft entered an uncontrolled descent and crashed in a pasture located near the RAF Stoney Cross. All five occupants were killed.

Probable cause:
The loss of control occurred while the aircraft was cruising in poor weather conditions with storm activity and atmospheric turbulences. The assumption that the aircraft may have been hit by lightning has not been ruled out.

En route from Heston to Somerton, Isle of Wight, one of the engine failed. The pilot attempted an emergency landing when the aircraft crashed on a sport field located in Fort Monckton, south of Gosport. The pilot was uninjured while the three engine aircraft was damaged beyond repair.

The single engine airplane was returning to Portsmouth following a flight from Ryde with one passenger and one pilot on board. On approach to Portsmouth, the pilot encountered ground mist. Too low, the airplane landed on a football field located at the aerodrome boundary then collided with the posts of the goal and carried them and the net across the field and on to the aerodrome. Both occupants escaped with minor injuries and the airplane was damaged beyond repair.
