Circumstances:
The airplane departed RAF Bodney in the evening of December 3 on an operation to Essen. While returning to base the following morning, the crew encountered poor weather conditions over East Anglia. Unable to find a gap, the crew decided to abandon the aircraft at an altitude of 6,000 feet in the vicinity of Bircham Newton. The aircraft entered a dive and crashed on Denver Sluice in Downham Market, bursting into flames. All three crew members were uninjured.

Circumstances:
The Italian bomber departed Melsbroek AFB in Brussels between 1745LT and 1830LT with nine other similar airplanes on an operation to England - Harwich, Ipswich, Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth. Over the target area, the airplane was hit by enemy fire and the crew was able to evacuate the combat zone and to fly back to Belgium. On final approach at night, the airplane went out of control and crashed onto several houses located in Diegem, short of runway. All six crew members were killed. It is believed that people on the ground were also killed.

The airplane departed RAF West Raynham at 1718LT on an operation to Wanne-Eickel. During the operation, the starboard propeller reduction gear sheered and the propeller fell off. The pilot was able to evacuate the area and to return to base, but the airplane crashed into West Raynham village while trying to land. All three crew members were seriously injured. Sgt Green died on 28 November from injuries sustained.

Circumstances:
The airplane departed RAF Thorney Island at 2300LT on September 17 on an operation to Cherbourg. Approaching the target at low altitude, the crew dropped its torpedo then initiated a turn to the east to the Val de Saire when the airplane was shot down by the German Flak. Out of control, the airplane collided with an electric pole at Hôtel Giffard Street then crashed onto a house located in Bourbourg, in the suburb of Cherbourg. There was no explosion nor fire. All four crew members as well as seven people on the ground were killed.
