Airport (less than 10 km from airport)

The airplane departed Toluca-Licenciado Adolfo López Mateos International Airport on a positioning flight (Ambulance) to Cuernavaca, carrying two doctors and two pilots. After landing on runway 20 at Cuernavaca Airport, the crew initiated the braking procedure but the airplane was unable to stop within the remaining distance. It overran, went down a steep embankment and crashed in bushes, bursting into flames. The airplane was totally destroyed by impact forces and a post crash fire and all four occupants were killed. It is believed that the airplane landed too far down the runway, causing the landing distance to be insufficient.

Shortly after takeoff from McCook-Ben Nelson Regional Airport, en route to Schreveport, Louisiana, the single engine airplane went out of control and crashed in a garden located in a residential area. One occupant was killed and the second one was injured. The airplane was destroyed.

The airplane was on its way from Rio Branco to Envira, carrying two pilots and 10 passengers, among them three women and two children. Shortly after takeoff from Rio Branco-Plácido de Castro Airport, the single engine airplane went out of control and crashed in a dense wooded area, bursting into flames. It was totally destroyed by impact forces and a post crash fire and all 12 occupants were killed.

While completing a local flight out from Reno-Stead Airport, the twin engine airplane landed hard for unknown reasons, went out of control and came to rest nearby the runway. One occupant was slightly injured and the airplane was damaged beyond repair.

In the evening of October 20, the four engine airplane departed Ayni AFB (Gissar AFB) located west of Dushanbe on a transport mission with a crew of eight on board. Shortly after takeoff, while climbing, the crew reported an engine fire and was cleared for an immediate return. The crew turned over the area for several minutes to dump the fuel before completing a landing on runway 08/26. After touchdown shortly past midnight on October 21, the airplane veered off runway and came to rest in a grassy area, bursting into flames. All eight crew members evacuated safely while the airplane was totally destroyed by fire. It is believed that the engine n°4 caught fire during initial climb.

The twin engine airplane departed Gonzales-Louisiana Regional Airport at 1456LT on a short flight to Patterson. Following a left hand turn, the airplane descended to Patterson-Harry P. Williams Airport when it crashed 300 feet short of runway 06 threshold, bursting into flames. The airplane was destroyed and both occupants were killed. Patterson-Harry P. Williams Airport is located 64 km southwest of Gonzales-Louisiana Regional Airport.

The airplane departed Chattanooga-Lovell Field Airport Runway 20 at 2225LT on a cargo flight (FDX1376) to Memphis with a crew of three on board. While climbing at night, the crew reported technical problems with the landing gear. The crew continued to the north, followed a circuit then completed a low pass over runway 20 at 2256LT. A second low pass was completed at 2319LT then the crew made a belly landing at 2347LT. The airplane slid on the runway then veered off runway and came to rest in a grassy area with both engines damaged. All three crew members evacuated safely.

Just after liftoff from runway 35 at Bom Futuro Airport, while in initial climb, the twin engine airplane rolled to the left, descended and impacted the surface of the apron with its left wing. Upon impact, the undercarriage were torn off then the airplane slid for few dozen metres before it crashed against a hangar under construction, bursting into flames. Both passengers were injured while the pilot and one person on the ground were killed.

After landing on runway 26 at Xalapa-El Lencero Airport, the airplane went out of control, veered off runway and came to rest in a bushy and grassy area. All seven occupants were rescued and the airplane was damaged beyond repair.

After touchdown on runway 06L at Gao Airport, the airplane was unable to stop within the remaining distance. It overran and eventually crashed in a ravine located about 500 meters past the runway end, bursting into flames. There were some casualties as well as few people were rescued. The exact number of victims is unclear. It is believed that the airplane was given to the Malian Air Force by the Wagner Group about a week prior to the accident. Some members of the Wagner Group were on board according to the Malian Authorities. For unknow reasons, the airplane landed too far down the runway, most probably well past the mid runway, reducing the landing distance available. In such conditions, the crew was unable to stop the airplane in due time. It is believed that at least two crew members were killed in the crash.
