Circumstances:
The flight, which was a private flight, was the third of the day. The pilot had landed on a field at Tumberg just north of Vårgårda and after a ground stop they planned to take off from the field. On board were one pilot and four passengers. The pilot decided to take off from the field in an easterly direction because there were obstacles in the form of buildings and lamp posts in the westerly direction. There were trees at the end of the field to the east, but the pilot assessed that these did not pose a problem and that the field was long enough for a take-off in an easterly direction. No precise calculations were made to determine the required take-off distance. The pilot initiated the take-off and set the engine controls to full take-off power. According to the pilot and the passenger in the right front seat, the indicated values for engine rpm and manifold pressure were normal. The acceleration of the aircraft was also perceived as normal. At lift-off, the aircraft rolled to the right and the pilot felt that the aircraft did not climb as expected. The pilot pulled hard on the control yoke and tried to climb over the trees at the end of the field. However, he failed to manoeuvre the aircraft away from the trees and as a result the aircraft collided with the trees. No one was injured in the collision but the aircraft sustained significant damage.
Probable cause:
The accident was caused due to the fact that a robust method for performance calculation of the required take-off distance was not applied. This in term led to the commencement of the flight in spite of the lack of conditions for a safe start in the chosen direction. The investigation has shown that under the prevailing conditions, the required distance for a take-off exceeded the available distance. A safe take-off was therefore not possible in the chosen take-off direction.

Circumstances:
Upon landing at Trollhättan-Målöga Airport, the aircraft nosed over and came to rest upside down. Both occupants escaped uninjured while the aircraft was damaged. It was apparently repaired.
Probable cause:
The pilot used excessive brakes after touchdown, causing the brakes to block. The landing maneuver was completed with a tailwind component.

Circumstances:
On final approach to Falköping Airport, both engines failed simultaneously. The pilot attempted an emergency landing when the aircraft crashed in an open field located five km short of runway. The aircraft slid for few dozen meters and eventually collided with a stone wall. The pilot was slightly injured and the aircraft was damaged beyond repair.
Probable cause:
It was determined that both engines failed following a fuel exhaustion. The main tanks and those in the wings were empty while the tip tanks still contained fuel. The left auxiliary fuel pump had been changed the day before the accident. The pilot proceeded to the daily inspection but failed to drain the fuel system. The main tank was extremely dirty and the filters in the fuel transfer lines were fitted against the published procedures and were also blocked by impurities. Additionally, those filters contained a lot of water. In all lines, the fuel was so contaminated that electrical resistance caused the fuel gauges to indicate a quantity of fuel far greater than reality. Investigators at the scene of the accident found that the main tank drain valve was open.

Circumstances:
The flight NB821, a non-scheduled air transport operation from Stockholm-Arlanda Airport to Gothenburg-Torslanda Airport, took off from Arlanda on 23 December 1967 at 0637 hours GMT. The aircraft was flown in accordance with an approved flight plan. The first approach was discontinued at critical height due to insufficient visual references. During the second approach the pilot-in-command took over the aircraft at a low altitude and landed. A heavy touchdown was made on runway 22 approximately 3,000 feet after the threshold at 0801 hours GMT. The aircraft sustained substantial damage and all 55 occupants were evacuated safely.
Probable cause:
The Board determines the cause of the accident was non-regulative use of reverse before firm ground contact. The following contributing factors were reported:
- The pilot-in-command took over the controls and continued the approach just after the co-pilot had started to level off at minimum altitude,
- The approach was high,
- The touchdown was made 3 000 ft after the threshold,
- The pilot-in-command applied reverse power before ground contact,
- The pilot-in-command's action was most probably affected by the high approach and the short runway.
