Circumstances:
The crew was cleared to descend from 9,000 to 6,000 feet when, in marginal weather conditions, the airplane struck the slope of Mt Babin Zub located about 55 km north of Titograd-Golubovci Airport. The aircraft was totally destroyed and all 41 occupants were killed.
Probable cause:
Controlled flight into terrain. For undetermined reason, the crew descended prematurely to an unsafe altitude. Lack of visibility was a contributing factor.

Circumstances:
The descent to Titograd was started from the south, by night and poor weather conditions. Through freezing fog, the aircraft hit the slope of Mt Rumija located 25 km south of the airport. The wreckage was found few hours later and all 23 occupants were killed.

The crew was approaching Titograd Airport at a too low altitude, apparently to maintain a visual contact with the ground. Low visibility caused by clouds, fog and night was considered as a contributory factor. The possibility that an altimeter was defective was not ruled out.

Shortly after takeoff, while climbing, the float plane collided with mast of a ship and crashed into the bay of Boka Kotorska, off Tivat. Both pilots were injured and the aircraft was lost.
