Circumstances:
The airplane departed RAF Linton-on-Ouse at 1605LT on December 2 on an operation to Lorient, Brittany. While returning to base, the crew lost his orientation and decided to divert to RAF Cold Kirby, a dummy airfield that was not suitable for such an aircraft. After touchdown on a grassy runway, the aircraft went out of control and came to rest. All five crew members escaped uninjured and the aircraft was damaged beyond repair.

Circumstances:
The airplane departed RAF Linton-on-Ouse at 1642LT in the evening of November 14 on an operation to Berlin. Over the target area, it was hit by the German Flak and badly damaged to the port engine. The crew was able to evacuate the area and to return to England but the airplane eventually crash landed near King's Lynn. All five crew members survived, among them three were injured.

Circumstances:
The airplane departed RAF Linton-on-Ouse at 1727LT on October 25 to bomb a petrochemical factory based in Stettin (Szczecin), Poland. While returning to base at night and passing the German coast, the airplane was shot down by the German Flak. The captain was able to cross the North Sea despite the aircraft was badly damaged. Arriving over England at night, the pilot was unable to pinpoint his position and the crew decided to bail out. The crew landed safely by parachute while the airplane dove into the ground and crashed next to a railway line.
