Scampton AFB

The airplane departed RAF Scampton in the evening of November 14 on an operation to Berlin. It failed to return, maybe after it crashed into the North Sea. No trace was ever found. All four crew members were killed.

The airplane departed RAF Scampton on an operation to Berlin. It was shot down by enemy fire and crashed in Neuruppin, killing all four crew members.

The airplane departed RAF Scampton on the evening of November 10 on an operation to Danzig. It crashed in unknown circumstances into the North Sea off the Dutch coast. All four crew members were killed.

The airplane departed RAF Scampton on the evening of November 10 on an operation to Danzig. It was last heard while flying 30 miles east of the Norfolk coast when it was lost without trace. All four crew members were killed.

The airplane departed RAF Scampton on a mine laying operation off Lorient. While taking off at night, it crashed into a Nissen hut located near one of the dispersal pans, bursting into flames. All four crew members escaped with minor injuries while three people in the Nissen hut were killed, a fourth was seriously injured.

The airplane departed RAF Scampton on the evening of November 8 on an operation to Munich. While returning to base at night, the crew abandoned the aircraft that crashed 4 miles west of RAF Hemswell. The aircraft was destroyed and all four crew members were uninjured.

The airplane departed RAF Scampton in the evening of November 3 on an operation to Kiel. Over the target area, it was hit by the German Flak and while approaching the British coast, it crashed into the sea off Spurn Head. All four crew members were killed.

The airplane departed RAF Scampton on an operation to Kiel. While taking off in heavy rain falls, the airplane went out of control and crashed. All four crew members evacuated safely.

The airplane departed RAF Scampton on an operation to Hamburg. Prior to midnight, it was shot down by the pilot of a German fighter and crashed into the sea about a mile off Skegness. All four crew members were killed.
