Circumstances:
The crew was engaged in a local training flight at RAF Colerne and was completing touch-and-go manoeuvres. While in initial climb with the engine n°1 voluntarily off, the engine n°2 failed. The airplane rolled to the left and crashed in flames in a wooded area located few hundred yards past the runway end. The aircraft was destroyed and all five crew members were killed.

Circumstances:
On touchdown at RAF Colerne, the undercarriage were sheared off. The aircraft skidded on its belly and came to rest. Both crew members were unhurt while the aircraft was damaged beyond repair.

Circumstances:
The crew was completing a local training sortie at RAF Colerne and the approach was attempted with one engine voluntarily inoperative to test asymmetric thrust. On final, the aircraft rolled left and right, lost height and hit trees. The pilot-in-command started a go-around maneuver when the airplane stalled and crashed in flames in a prairie located about 1,3 mile short of runway threshold. All five crew members were rescued while the aircraft was totally destroyed by a post crash fire.

The airplane departed RAF Leeming in the evening of February 15 on an operation to Saint-Nazaire. While returning to base the following night, the pilot attempted an emergency landing at RAF Colerne where the airplane crashed on approach in unclear circumstances. All five crew members were killed.

Shortly after takeoff from RAF Colerne, while on a short flight to the nearby airfield of RAF Charmy Down, the airplane went out of control and crashed in a field located in Box, about 4 km south of RAF Colerne. All three crew members were killed.

Circumstances:
En route, an engine cowl separated from the engine and wrapped around the tail. Unable to maintain control of the airplane, the pilot bailed out. Unfortunately, the observer died when the airplane dove into the ground and crashed.
