En route from Salisbury to Pretoria, while cruising over South Rhodesia, weather conditions deteriorated and the visibility was poor due to thick clouds. The crew lost control of the airplane that crashed 30 km north of the Limpopo River, northwest of Beitbridge. The aircraft was totally destroyed and all six occupants were killed. The four passengers were members of the SAAF Boxing Team flying back to Pretoria (Roberts Heights) after taking part to a competition in Salisbury.

The pilot, sole on board, departed Biarritz-Parme Airport on a positioning flight to Spain. While approaching the area of Ribadesella, the twin engine airplane was shot down by the pilot of a Nationalist Air Force fighter and crashed. The pilot Abel Guidez was killed.

Shortly after takeoff from the beach of Laredo, while climbing, both engines lost power. The pilot attempted an emergency landing when the aircraft crashed in shallow water. The pilot was uninjured and the airplane was damaged beyond repair.

Probable cause:

The accident was found to be sabotage as sugar was found in the carburetor.

On a flight from Vitória to Valladolid-Olmedo Airbase, the crew encountered poor visibility due to foggy conditions. Too low, the airplane impacted the slope of a mountain located near the village of Alcocero de Mola. The aircraft was destroyed by impacted forces and all six occupants were killed, among them General Emilio Mola, his personal Adjudant and two other high ranking officers.

The twin engine airplane departed Biarritz-Parme Airport on a flight to Bilbao, carrying three passengers and two crew members. While cruising over the Basque County, the airplane was shot down by the pilot of a Spanish Nationalist Forces fighter and the engines were struck by bullets. The crew reduced his altitude and attempted an emergency landing when the aircraft crash landed on a beach located in Sopelana, about 12 km northwest of Bilbao Airport. The aircraft was destroyed and all five occupants were injured.

The crew departed Croydon on a mail flight to Paris-Le Bourget. En route, he encountered poor visibility due to low clouds. Too low, the airplane collided with two high trees and crashed in Titsey Hill, near Oxted. Both occupants were killed.

Probable cause:

It was evident from the disposition of the wreckage and the nature of the damage to the trees, that the aircraft was flying straight and laterally level and was heading south-east. "I found no evidence to suggest that there was any engine failure. on the contrary, the evidence indicates that the engines were running normally," said the Inspector. The hills were 870 feet high, and the trees were about 50 feet high, bringing the total height to 920 feet, or about 300 metres. Weather conditions, in witness's opinion, must have had something to do with the accident. It was possible that the southerly wind had drifted the machine farther over the high ground. There was no question of the engine stalling. He did not consider that a fully-loaded machine had anything to do with the accident.

The aircraft named 'Gabrielle' was owned by the British Maxwell H. Findlay & Ken H. F. Waller who were taking part to the 'Schlesinger Trophy' between Portsmouth and Johannesburg. While taking off from Abercorn Airfield, Northern Rhodesia, the twin engine aircraft went out of control and crashed in the bush. The pilot Max Findlay and the radio operator A. H. Morgan were killed while both other occupants were injured.
