Circumstances:
The airplane departed RAF Honington at 2057LT on April 17 on an operation to Berlin. During the course of the next five hours, a number of w/t signals were received, the last being at 0058LTZ when SOS was heard. At this stage, the bomber was plotted 30 miles off Lowestoft. It is believed that the bomber crashed into the sea but no trace of it nor the crew was ever found.

Circumstances:
The crew consisting of one instructor and two student pilots were performing a training exercise at RAF Honington. After completing several manoeuvres in the vicinity of the airbase, the crew initiated a last turn to join the approach path when the aircraft stalled and crashed in a field. All three crew members were injured and the aircraft was destroyed.

The airplane was engaged in a local training mission at RAF Mildenhall. Shortly after takeoff, it collided with trees and crashed on a cottage located in Holmsey Green, north of the airbase. Two crew members were killed as well as Mrs. Martha Brightwell who was leaving in the cottage. Six other occupants were injured.

While returning to base the following night, it landed heavily, bounced and then climbed steeply before stalling at approximately 70 feet. A fire broke out when the bomber crashed at 0350LT. All six crew members were injured, one seriously. Sgt Butler died from injuries sustained.

The airplane departed RAF Newmarket in the evening of March 23 on an operation to Calais. While returning to base the following night, it caught fire for unknown reasons. While trying to make an emergency landing, the airplane collided with high tension cables then struck the roof of a house and crashed on Hazelwood Common near Leiston, bursting into flames. Six crew members were killed while a seventh was seriously injured. The only survivor died from injuries sustained on March 30.
