Circumstances:
En route from Madrid-Getafe AFB to Toledo, the airplane named 'Aqui le Espero' was shot down by the pilot of a Fiat CR-32 and crashed near Rielves. All five crew members were killed. It appears that the pilot Joaquín Mellado survived the crash but committed suicide thinking he would be capture.

While on a night mail flight from Chicago to Toledo, the pilot encountered stormy weather. He lost control of the airplane that dove into the ground and crashed in a swamp. The pilot Harold Neff was killed.

Circumstances:
The pilot was completing a night mail flight from Newark to Chicago with an en route stop in Toledo. The takeoff was initiated in limited visibility due to the night, rain falls and fog. Just after liftoff, the airplane collided with a boundary fence and crashed. The aircraft was destroyed and the pilot Nicholas A. Laurenzana was injured.

On final approach to Toledo Airport, the single engine airplane crashed in unknown circumstances 1,500 metres short of runway. The passenger Thomas F. White was seriously injured and both pilots Michael M. Rubner, President of the Company, and C. F. Kokus were killed.

Shortly after takeoff from Toledo Airport, while climbing, a fire erupted in the cabin. The pilot reduced his altitude and attempted an emergency landing. The airplane crashed in an open field and came to rest, bursting into flames. The pilot was injured and the aircraft was destroyed by a post crash fire.
Probable cause:
A fire erupted in the cabin, probably after sack of air mail caught fire in flight.
