The pilot departed RNZAF Woodbourne (near Blenheim) at 0907LT with a scheduled return at 1115LT. The aircraft failed to return and SAR were initiated. Unfortunately, no trace of the aircraft nor the pilot found and all operations were abandoned after a week. A hunter found the wreckage on April 5, 1980 in an isolated area located in the Tararua Mountain Range, between Masterton, Paraparaumu and Waikanae.

The pilot was performing a training flight with another Airspeed Oxford registered NZ1246. En route, both aircraft collided for unknown reasons. As the pilot of NZ1246 was able to make an emergency landing at RNZAF Woodbourne, NZ1276 crashed into the sea off Blenheim, killing the pilot.

The pilot was performing a solo training mission at Wigram AFB and was supposed to complete several touch & go manoeuvres. Following a circuit in the vicinity of the airfield, he landed briefly and then increased the engine power for a new takeoff procedure. While in initial climb, the twin engine aircraft stalled and crashed 3 km from the airbase, bursting into flames. The pilot was killed.

The crew was performing a training mission out from Ohakea AFB. While completing a sharp turn at low height, the crew lost control of the aircraft that dove into the ground and crashed on two farmhouses. Both pilots were killed.

Shortly after take off from Wigram AFB, while on a local training flight, the crew completed a sharp turn when the aircraft stalled and crashed, bursting into flames. The aircraft was destroyed by a post crash fire and both crew members were killed.

The pilot was performing a night solo training exercise. While cruising south of Palmerston North in poor visibility, he failed to realize he was flying too low when the airplane impacted the slope of a hill and disintegrated upon impact. The pilot was killed.

En route from Hobsonville to Ohakea, the twin engine aircraft crashed in an uninhabited area. As the airplane failed to arrive at destination, SAR operations were initiated but eventually abandoned as no trace of the aircraft nor the crew was found. In March 1941, walkers found the wreckage in an isolated zone. According to the RNZAF, the aircraft have been built in Hobsonville and was on its way to be delivered at Ohakea Airport. All three crew members were killed.

The pilot was engaged in a night solo training flight out from Woodbourne AFB. After liftoff, while in initial climb, the twin engine aircraft encountered difficulties to gain height. The pilot initiated a sharp turn when the aircraft stalled and crashed. The aircraft was destroyed and the pilot was killed.

The crew was performing a training flight and departed Wigram AFB in the early morning. While flying in the Kaituna Valley, some 20 km south of Christchurch, the crew encountered poor weather conditions and low visibility due to fog. The twin engine aircraft impacted a mountain slope and was destroyed. All four crew members were killed.

The crew, two students and one instructor, were performing a local training flight out from Dunedin-Taieri Airfield. After takeoff, while in initial climb, the twin engine aircraft failed to gain sufficient altitude. The pilot made a sharp turn to avoid trees when the aircraft stalled and crashed. A crew was killed and two others were seriously injured.
