Circumstances:
On approach to Alief-Andrau Airpark in low ceiling (400-600 feet), one of the engine failed. Due to insufficient speed, the airplane stalled and crashed. A pilot was killed while two other occupants were seriously injured.
Probable cause:
Engine malfunction on approach for undetermined reasons. The following contributing factors were reported:
- Failed to maintain flying speed,
- Low ceiling,
- Complete engine failure one engine,
- Visibility one mile or less,
- Weather at airport near Andrau 400 to 600 feet.

Circumstances:
On final approach to Alief-Andrau Airpark while conducting a flight from New Orleans to Brownsville, the pilot decided to initiate a go-around manoeuvre. He retracted the landing gear when the airplane stalled and struck the runway surface. It skidded off the end of runway and came to rest. Both occupants were injured, the pilot seriously, and the aircraft was written off.
Probable cause:
Stall and overshoot during a go-around after the pilot misjudged distance and speed. The following contributing factors were reported:
- Delayed in initiating go-around,
- Failed to maintain flying speed,
- Rough terrain,
- Poorly planned approach.

Probable cause:
The right main gear collapsed on landing due to overload failure caused by an improper level off/touchdown on part of the pilot.

Circumstances:
After touchdown at Houston Airport, the pilot started the braking procedure when he inadvertently raised the landing gear. The aircraft sank on its belly and slid for dozen yards before coming to rest in flames. The pilot escaped uninjured while the aircraft was destroyed.
