Circumstances:
The airplane departed RAF Feltwell on an operation to Brest. While returning to base in the late evening, the airplane crashed for unknown reasons in Elveden while the crew awaited their landing instructions. The pilot was killed and five other crew members were injured.

Circumstances:
The airplane departed RAF Mildenhall at 2114LT on August 12 on an operation to Hanover. Over the target area, the airplane was hit by the German Flak then severely damaged by a German fighter. While returning to base the following morning, the airplane crashed upon landing. Two crew members were killed and four others were injured.

Circumstances:
The crew was completing a navigation exercise out from RAF Honington. While flying southwest of Thetford at a too low altitude, the aircraft hit tree tops and crashed in a wooded area, bursting into flames. All five occupants were killed.
