Circumstances:
The airplane departed Kubinka Airport near Moscow on a flight to Bol’shoye Veregovo. At 2100LT, it passed over the enemy lines then landed at Bol’shoye Veregovo Airfield at 2245LT. It took off at 2305LT and was shot down by enemy fire about 20 minutes later. It crashed in an open field and was totally destroyed. All 27 occupants were killed, among them wounded soldiers evacuated from the front.
Probable cause:
Shot down by German fire.
