Antwerp

The airplane departed RAF Mildenhall at 1829LT on an operation to Antwerp. Approaching the target area, it crashed in the River Schelde. All six crew members were killed.

The airplane departed RAF Coningsby at 2010LT on March 3 on an operation to Cologne. While returning to base the following night, it was shot down by the German Flask and crashed in Antwerp. All four crew members were killed.

The airplane departed RAF Honington on the evening of September 28 on an operation to Cologne. While flying over the area of Antwerp at night, the aircraft was shot down by enemy fire and crashed near Antwerp. Five crew members were killed and a sixth became PoW.
