An instructor and one female student pilot departed Bandung on a local training flight. En route, the airplane collided with high tension wires and crashed in Lembang, about 10 km northeast of the airfield. The instructor H. C. Keim was slightly injured while the student pilot, Mrs. Van Lierop, was killed.

After completing several circuits around the airfield, the student pilot initiated the approach when the single engine aircraft landed hard and crashed. Both occupants were injured and the aircraft was damaged beyond repair.
Probable cause:
Wrong approach configuration on part of the student pilot and poor supervision on part of the instructor.

The pilot Archibald J. Moffat was travelling from West Malling to Kingsdown, in the region of Carlisle. En route, he encountered low visibility due to poor weather conditions when the single engine aircraft impacted the slope of Mt Cross Fell, the highest mountain of the Pennines with 893 metres. The aircraft was destroyed and the pilot was killed.
