Circumstances:
While on a routine mission out of Stavanger-Sola Airport, the crew failed to realize his altitude was insufficient when the airplane impacted the slope of Mt Kvitanosi located 18 km northwest of Vossevangen. Four crew members were killed on impact and two others were injured. They walked away for several hours before finding help.
