The airplane was engaged in a local training exercise at RAF Skellingthorpe. For unknown reasons, it landed hard and bounced. It went out of control and crashed, bursting into flames. There were no casualties.

Circumstances:
The crew was engaged in a local training exercise at RAF Coningsby. Shortly after takeoff, while in initial climb, the airplane crashed almost immediately when part of the port wing leading edge lifted, causing the bomber to career out of control and finish up, wrecked, near the station bomb dump. Miraculously, the crew escaped serious injury, despite smashing into a crane before coming to a stop.

Probable cause:
A technical failure occurred on the port leading edge flap shortly after liftoff. The flap went into a wrong position for such procedure, causing the airplane to crash.

Circumstances:
The crew was completing a local training exercise at RAF Dunholme Lodge. While circling in the vicinity of the airbase, the airplane collided with high tension wires and crashed south of the airfield. All three crew members were killed.

Circumstances:
The airplane departed RAF Woodhall Spa on a mine laying operation of the Frisian Islands. After takeoff in poor weather conditions, the airplane encountered difficulties to gain height. The right wing struck the roof of a house then the airplane stalled and crashed in a field located in Freiston, some 25 km southeast of the airbase. All seven crew members were injured.

The crew was completing a local training exercise at RAF Coningsby. Upon landing, the airplane bounced and the pilot initiated a go around manoeuvre. While climbing, the crew was unable to raise and lock the left main gear. It was decided to abandon the airplane that entered a dive and crashed 800 metres north of Winceby. All six crew members were uninjured.

Shortly after takeoff, while climbing at night and poor weather conditions, the pilot lost control of the airplane that crashed near the airbase. The observer was killed and both other occupants were injured.
