The airplane departed RAF Coningsby at 0105LT on a gardening operation. It was last heard at 0845LT calling for help and is believed to have crash in the North Sea some 48 miles east of Wick. No trace was found.

The airplane departed RAF Coningsby at 0025LT to lay mines in the Olso Fjord. Approaching the target area, it was shot down by the German Flak and crashed into the sea. Two crew members were killed and two others became PoW.

The airplane departed RAF North Luffenham on an operation to Cologne. It was hit by the German Flak and while returning to base, it crashed upon landing and was damaged beyond repair. All four crew members were uninjured.

The airplane departed RAF Swinderby at 1840LT on a 'Rover' patrol mission over the area of Aachen. While returning to base at night, the pilot was flying at low height when the airplane collided with a chimney stack, tearing off the lower section of the fuselage and breaking the fuel supply. With the engines out, the pilot was forced to attempt an emergency landing when the airplane crash landed in Onoz. All four crew members became PoW.
