The pilot was completing a local solo training sortie at RAF Church Fenton. For unknown reason, the airplane crashed upon landing and collided with a parked Blenheim registered K7083. Both airplanes were destroyed by fire and the pilot was killed.

Takeoff from Paramythia was abandoned after an engine failed. The crew raised the undercarriage to stop the airplane that was damaged beyond repair. There were no casualties.

The airplane departed Aden-Khormaksar Airport to attack the airfield of Mekele in Ethiopia. En route, it was attacked by the pilot of an Italian fighter and the pilot was able to evacuated the combat area and to return to Aden. Nevertheless, it crashed upon landing and was damaged beyond repair.

They walked for about 145 km before being assisted by locals. A second crew died eight days later from injuries sustained.
