Circumstances:
The airplane departed RAF Waddington on an operation to Bernburg. It was shot down over the Netherlands by the German Flak and crashed in Valom. All four crew members became PoW.

Circumstances:
The airplane departed RAF Marham at 2124LT on August 2 on a bombing mission over Hamburg. Approaching the Dutch coast, it crashed in unknown circumstances into the sea off Rottumeroog Island. All six crew members were killed.

Circumstances:
The airplane departed Goslar on a reconnaissance mission over England. While flying over the Netherlands, the left engine failed. The crew attempted an emergency landing when the aircraft crash landed in Noordpolder and came to rest. All three crew members evacuated safely.

Failure of the left engine in flight.
