Following an uneventful cargo flight from Toulouse-Montaudran Airport, the crew completed the approach to Paris-Le Bourget in limited visibility due to fog. The airplane landed hard, went out of control and came to rest upside down. All three occupants were injured and the aircraft was damaged beyond repair.

Shortly after takeoff from from Paris-Le Bourget Airport, while climbing at a height of 50 metres, the airplane went out of control and crashed onto a building near the airfield. The aircraft was destroyed and both occupants were killed. There were no casualties on the ground. Weather conditions at the time of the accident were considered as marginal with gusty winds.

Originally built as a Couzinet 27, this prototype named Couzinet 11 'Arc-en-ciel' was engaged in a local test flight out from Paris-Le Bourget Airport. While cruising in the vicinity of the airport at an excessive speed, the aircraft started to vibrate. The pilot-in-command lost control of the airplane that descended and crashed in an open field. One of the pilot was killed upon impact while the flight engineer died two days later from his injuries. The second pilot was seriously injured.

Circumstances:
The crew was taking part to the 'Grand-Prix des Avions de Transport'. Shortly after takeoff from Paris-Le Bourget Airport, at a height of 100 metres, the aircraft went out of control and crashed in a field in Aulnay-sous-Bois, east of the airport. All three occupants, two mechanic and one engineer, were killed. This aircraft, a four engines model recently built, was the only one example in service (first prototype).

A propeller blade detached in flight and cut the tail, causing the aircraft to be uncontrollable.

The flight from Warsaw to Prag and Strasbourg was uneventful. During the stop in Strasbourg, the pilot informed his base that all was OK. The last leg to Paris-Le Bourget was completed in very good weather conditions. On final approach to Le Bourget Airfield, the aircraft entered an uncontrolled descent and crashed in a huge explosion, killing all five occupants. It appears that the pilot should abort the landing due to the presence of another aircraft taking off at the same time.
