Circumstances:
As the airplane gained flying speed, it began drifting to the left and the left wing began to drop. The left landing gear struck a 10 foot embankment at the end of the runway. The left wing also struck the embankment and the plane came down to earth at an angle, skidded into a pine tree tearing off the nose compartment. The bombardier was slightly injured and still strapped in his seat when collected by an ambulance crew. Fire from an engine destroyed some personal baggage. The accident occurred at dusk.
