Circumstances:
The airplane departed RAF Scampton at 0015LT on an operation to Cologne. Passing over Belgium at an altitude of 14,500 feet, it was shot down by a German JU.88 fighter and crashed in Roly. Two crew members were killed and two others became PoW.
