Circumstances:
While returning to RAF Newmarket following an operation over St Omer, the airplane ran out of fuel and crash landed in Chrishall. All six crew members evacuated safely and the airplane was damaged beyond repair.
Probable cause:
Emergency landing following fuel exhaustion.
