Circumstances:
On final approach to Dresden Airport, at a height of 600 feet, aircraft went out of control and crashed on a wooded hill located few kilometers short of runway. All eight occupants were killed.
Probable cause:
The apparent loss of control may have resulted from severe down drafts that aircraft encountered during the approach to Dresden Airport. At the time of the accident, weather conditions were good.
