Circumstances:
The crew departed Aalborg Airport on a bombing mission over Simavik and Skarsfjord. On the return trip, the four engine aircraft was shot down by the pilot of an RAF Hurricane and crashed into the Tranøyfjorden. All six occupants were killed.
