Waterbeach AFB

The airplane departed RAF Waterbeach at 2338LT on June 25 on an operation to Bremen. It was lost without trace, maybe it crashed somewhere in the North Sea. All six crew members were killed.

The airplane departed RAF Waterbeach on a training exercise. Few minutes after takeoff, it went out of control and crashed two miles east-northeast of the airfield. The airplane was destroyed and all six occupants were killed.

The airplane departed RAF Waterbeach on an operation to Mannheim. Almost immediately after takeoff, it crashed near the airfield perimeter. All six crew members evacuated safely.

The airplane departed RAF Waterbeach at 2111LT on April 29 on an operation to Mannheim. The following night, it was shot down by the pilot of a German fighter and crashed in the North Sea. All six crew members were killed.

While returning to base the following night and approaching the British coast, it collided with a barrage balloon cable and crashed into the sea of Harwich, some 3,000 yards offshore. All six crew members were killed.
