The airplane departed Broomfield-Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport, Colorado, around 7 am on a 2 hours flight to University-Oxford, Mississippi. Following a stop of an hour and 15 minutes, the airplane took of for Hamilton-Marion County-Rankin Fite Airport, Alabama. Around 10 minutes after takeoff, while flying to the east, the airplane went out of control and crashed under unknown circumstances between New Albany and Blue Springs, about 33 miles east of University-Oxford Airport. The aircraft was destroyed and all three occupants have been killed. At the time of the accident, thunderstorm activity was reported in the area.
