Circumstances:
Christened 'Windward III', the aircraft owned by June Jewell James was performing a flight from England to Egypt. While taking off from Positano, the float plane went out of control and crashed into the sea. While the passenger suffered a broken leg, both crew were unhurt. As the aircraft was not repairable, it was later scrapped. The exact cause of the accident is unknown.
