Aircraft was owned by the Norwegian Aviator Leif Lier. He was performing a mail flight on behalf of the daily newspaper Dagposten. En route, engine failed and aircraft lost height before crashing in a private garden. While the pilot was slightly injured, aircraft was destroyed.
