Circumstances:
While approaching Hanover Airport from southwest, the pilot Heumann encountered low visibility due to foggy conditions. Aircraft hit tree tops and crashed on a hilly terrain in Pötzen, some 35 km southwest of the Airport. All five occupants were injured and the aircraft christened 'Eider' was destroyed.
