Circumstances:
While cruising east of Tonbridge, crew was forced to make an emergency landing for unknown reason. Aircraft crashed in flames in a field located near the Paddock Wood railway station. While both crew escaped with minor injuries, aircraft christened 'Vendée' was destroyed by fire.
