Crew was performing a mail flight from Paris to Croydon. En route, while cruising over The Channel in heavy snow falls, pilot lost control of the aircraft that crashed into the sea off Folkestone. Both crew were killed, among them pilot André Schutz. Aircraft was christened 'Provence'.
