Circumstances:
The aircraft was carrying one pilot, a flight paramedic and a flight nurse to pick up a patient in Alamosa. During its descent at night and in bad weather conditions, the twin engine aircraft hit the Charleys Peak located 25 miles southeast from Alamosa. Rescue teams located the aircraft in the next afternoon. All three occupants were killed.
